American financier and convicted sex offender, Jeffery Epstein, was found dead in Manhattan Jail cell. Mr. Epstein was accused of sex trafficking and he was not under suicide watch at the Manhattan Jail at the time of his death even after a suicidal attempt. Officials said on Saturday that Jeffrey Epstein, who was tenacious by accusations of sexual abuse of girls, has killed himself in his Manhattan jail cell. Jeffery Epstein’s death news quickly spread from New York to Washington and Florida, that caused to put federal inquiries to know why he was not deeply monitored for pre suicidal activities.
Epstein hanged himself in his cell and he was found dead at around 6:30 am on Saturday at the Metropolitan Correctional Center. In the last month, when the court denied him bail on federal sex trafficking charges, Mr. Epstein was found unconscious in his cell. He was examined and some marks were also found on his neck. Prison officials were investigating that incident for the possibility of a suicide attempt.
After this incident on July 23rd, Mr. Epstein was placed on suicide watch and faced daily psychiatric evaluation. A person who was deployed to watch out Epstein was removed from suicide watch on July 29th and was sent for another duty. The jail authority has not explained yet, why the person was removed. FBI is investigating and a special inquiry will be conducted to know about the real incident.
According to Scott Cooper Miami, Jeffry Epstein had opened a foundation named, The Jeffrey Epstein VI Foundation in US Virgin Island in 2000. It was opened to support science and science education around the world. The Jeffery Epstein VI Foundation was approached by the leading scientists including Stephen Hawkings, Martin Nowak, Gregory Benford, Lee Smolin, and Seth Lloyd.
