As per the basketball Twitter account of Duke men, Cassius Stanley, a Duke Freshman, has already broken the record of Zion Williamson. Stanley does not enjoy a huge fanfare like Williamson, but even then, he set the record of his team high for the vertical leap. Duke shared Stanley’s video few days back, where he can be seen showing off his vertical jump.
A vertical jump is measured after getting a running start, unlike a standing jump. For improving it, there are many programs available online, which guide players on how to improve their jump. Williamson had set the record of max vertical jump in basketball last year, which was reportedly 40 inches. And this year, this freshman broke his record. The official measurement of Cassius Stanley’s vertical jump is not yet available. But people can click here to find out ways on how they can improve their own vertical jump.
Though Stanley’s vertical jump is high, but his outside shooting is still a question mark. Blue Devils would be counting on their 6 foot 6 inches guard at both the ends of basketball floor. So Stanley would have to bring in some ways to contribute from his first game as a Duke player. This game would be held against Kansas on November 5.
