In 2020, most event brands suffered heavily from the restrictions on social activities that were the bedrock of their profit. Many nightclub owners and event brand managers faced financial Armageddon because of their economic struggle. Evidently, one would expect this new year resolution would be to regain their losses by investing in events that focused on adults.
Many event owners are inclined to invest in adults because they are trying to promote a more exclusive atmosphere where clients have more disposable income.
However, Chris Sarchet Bale is adamant in the reconstruction of event planning activities that he desires to promote. His motivation to redefine fun in the aspect of promoting entertaining events for teenagers is still as pungent as it was in 2014 when he established his brand in his hometown, Burnley.
Shutting down cities across the UK
Chris Sarchet Bell had earlier gained experience from the events and nightlife industry from orchestrating shows for adults before he redirected his gaze on changing audiences.
Shutdown Events has attracted positive interest both from the social media sphere and the physical audience in the UK.
Accordingly, Chris has articulated on his success story by citing that “Shutdown has now hosted events across 10+ towns/cities nationwide. But now it’s all about bringing those acts you never thought you’d see, wild theme venue transformations and huge production with fire, pyros and laser shows.
With their social media constantly growing, they were getting requests from more and more clients across the country asking them to come to a town/city near them, because of this Shutdown are continuing to grow and build such a high in demand brand on a weekly basis”
Tough days in Burnley
Chris did not have a smooth childhood as he recounts that “I lost my step dad and had to become the man of the house from a young age, because of this, everything I do is so my family will eventually never have to work again”
Chris’s hard work stems from his background and it initiated his decision to rise among stereotypes and cliches’. He advises “Not to trust everyone who says they want to help you, take a step back and assess a situation before jumping into it and to also not take on too much at one given time. Finally, always get everything put into a contract”
A New Purpose:
Shutdown Events is dedicated to educating kids so that they don’t have to drink to have a good time. Their activities include bringing celebrities to their events, organizing paint and foam parties, Co2 and confetti parties, wild theme venue transformations and huge production with fire, pyros and laser shows.
