After raising $36,000 from the short film, Star Thieves in 2017, the filmmakers are going for a whirlwind ride to produce a 90-minute feature film. The short format was landed in front of several large audiences, schools and major studios. Great authors like Octavia Butler and Nalo Hopkinson are inspiring the filmmakers to create a diverse cast of characters.
Star Thieves is an original sci-fi feature film with a high concept storyline and multicultural cast so that everyone can feel their face to be represented. The filmmakers’ goal is to feature minorities based film on a prominent stage. To do so they, are asking to contribute to embark the epic adventure together. They want to produce a feature-length film full of inclusivity with the help of crowdfunding through different pledges. The pledges will raise fund for the long-length movie.
