According to a new survey conducted by Swiss business school, IMD and the Singapore University of Technology and Design, Singapore is again the world’s smartest city. The city is adopting digital technologies and improving the lives of the citizens. The survey has looked at many aspects such as public safety, mobility, governance and health, and it found development in maintaining green spaces, existing local institutions, the security of citizens and digitalization access to employment.

SGP’s leaders are proactively thinking about making the city a healthy place to live.
Singapore’s Housing Development Board is also helping to maintain the city’s rank above all. The board is offering all citizens access to free public housing. Currently, more than 80% of the country’s population is living in public housing. House Development Board is planning to take an active role in adding a heart to housing, ensuring that residents live in spaces characterized by self-sufficiency and connectivity. Improved transportation is contributing to the quality of life for residents. SGP’s Land Transit Authority has expanded a pilot area for autonomous vehicles to cover the entire city.
