This year’s DMC DJ championship finals are going to be held in London in September. RANE will present the championship in association with Technics and it will be a historic competition. The DMC DJ championship will witness finalists from across the globe for the coveted title. Venue for the championship is Islington Assembly Hall, and it will be held on Saturday 28th September. The championship will follow from last year’s 33rd outing for competition which saw France’s DJ Skilz come out on top.
At this year’s event, five times DMC World DJ champion Craze will host a live performance. Organizers are also going to encourage budding DJs to upload a 60-second set here. There will be a good chance for them to perform on the main stage in front of the judges on the day. The cost of the tickets for the event is £16.50 per person. In 2017, DJ Rena became the youngest ever winner of the DMC world championship at the age of 12 years old. Birmingham based turntablist Mr. Switch was the first UK DJ who won the competition first time 13 years ago.
DMC has announced that Technics will once again support the event. Technics has joined Rane as a primary sponsor for the world’s leading DJ competitions. It will be providing the new MK7 turntable for the musically inclines as an option at the world finals. Technics will also offer all competing DJs a chance to use headphone on stage.
