Milou Sky is a famous music band. Two stepbrothers who disliked each other but loved The Beatles made this band. The two brothers are Zach and Ryan. Zach Ninfo plays the drums and Ryan Beckett is the lead guitarist of the band. Beckett’s way of playing the guitar is similar to that of George Harrison. The official name of the band was “The Reasons” when rhythm guitarist Liam Meadowcroft joined the two brothers. Meadowcroft’s love for Arctic Monkeys and Nirvana attracted the brothers. Later on, the name of the group was changed to Milou Sky. After some time Liam’s brother Nolan Meadowcraft also joined the band as the bass guitarist.
This band has a fan following of 2,000,000 streams on SoundCloud and 100,000 followers on Instagram. Their inspiration is not limited only to The Beatles. They also drew inspiration from many other famous artists and genres. They created their own sound by fusing classic 60s rock, 90s grunge, and modern pop. Ryan Beckett, the lead vocalist said, “It’s important to listen to a lot of different music because it can influence what you write. We’re inspired by the music we like, and we feed off of what we hear to create our own songs and sound.”
Before their debut single this group used to perform only in local places, festivals, and TV shows. The award-winning producer Robert Cutarella was the reason behind the release of their debut single called “Compromise.”
Covid-19 affected their production just like everybody else’s. Many of their shows got canceled. To interact with their audience they took the help of the internet and social media platforms and continued doing their work. This also helped them with a fanbase.
