16th Baltic Jewellery show was held from March 13-16 in Lithuania. The event was the largest of its kind in the Baltic states. It attracted more than 220 exhibitors from 30 countries. There was a high number of visitors from around the world. Almost 500 VIP buyers such as wholesalers, museums, collectors, raw material suppliers, and customers were present in the show. Most of the people who visited the show were from China. The VIP buyers from China were expected to come in a high number hence the show contained a lot of products that were favorite to Chinese customers. The products they experienced were Hand string, Buddha beads, and pendant. Due to its immense success, various jewellery businesses are still reeling in profits.
The show was the largest International jewellery and Amber Trip show in the Baltic states. It was an exclusive event where many professional jewellers, designers, and customers from outermost countries were present. The show had exhibited the latest jewellery trends, most advanced technologies and the latest pieces of work by professional jewellers like www.premiere.lt. In the opening ceremony, Giedrius Guntorius, head of Amber Trip, announced a new cluster project to create the Baltic Amber Road. A raw trade platform was held just a day before the opening show on March 12. Major raw material suppliers from Russia, Ukraine, and Poland joined at opening day.
Amber Trip which is an event management company and host jewellery exhibitions, successfully conducted the show throughout the time period. The show covered 6.6 thousand square meters this year including 2.7 thousand square meters of exposition. There was a total of 8 thousand visitors in that event.
