2. WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE PATIENTS DURING THIS OUTBREAK OF COVID-19?
As susceptible human’s we should be taking care of our physical bodies, from the inside and out. Focusing on what we are feeding our bodies, or physical forms of exercise and therapy to our emotional states of mental well-being.
I would highly recommend boosting and improving the immune system from encouraging healthy eating or to nourish our body to fight off any disease or infections.
This should be combined with daily hit training exercise 30-mins to help reduce cortisol our stress hormones, to improve cellular function and our cognitive abilities to manage admin tasks throughout self-isolation.
3. HOW IS MY SPORTS INJURY DIFFERENT FROM OTHER PHYSICAL THERAPY CLINICS?
MY Sports Injury combines clinical medicine including manual and physical therapy that examines the pain evidence and relationship between different sports professions to enhance the overall treatment approach.
4. CAN YOU FIX INJURY? ACUTE / OR / TREAT LONG STANDING PAIN?
We use a wide variety of techniques best suited to the patient. It depends a lot on your individual pain tolerance and experience having treatment or not. Most clients can feel some discomfort dependant on the pressure of your therapist. This is usually to help release long-withstanding tension from the body which is beneficial and satisfying once released after the session.
5. WHATS THE MOST COMMON SPORTS INJURY YOU TREAT?
We treat various types of Sports Injuries, but our most common would probably be Neck or Back Pains. Our specialists focus on the root causes and strive to deliver quality approach to care, we don’t just treat the symptoms.
