Cyber Boy Corp. is a cybersecurity company in Beverly Hills, Ca. Established on 3/19/20 and wholly-owned by CyberBoy. The company is planning on opening their doors to the public in 2022, but, currently offering security and investigative services through its affiliate.
Reporter: Why begin promoting your services now and not in 2022 when you are qualified and trained to provide cybersecurity services upon completion of your cybersecurity degree?
CyberBoy: Well, to be quite honest, its all part of marketing and branding. Two terms commonly used synonymously, but with different meanings. Marketing is a technique to attract customers, and branding is how customers identify goods and services. I just haven’t quite decided if Cyber Boy Corp. is going to focus on consultation services or products or both. But, let’s look at Walt Disney if you don’t mind?
Reporter: Not at all.
Reporter: In October sometime in the early 1950s, Disneyland premiered on television through American Broadcasting Company, and Walt Disney presented a 3D model of Disneyland to the audience. During each episode, he would market, brand, and share his imagination. Fast forward to today, and The Walt Disney Company owns ABC. So, I don’t necessarily mean to put the carriage before the horse, but, as a company, we have to realize that it also takes time to build a brand. Eventually, things will fall into place. I have faith.
Reporter: Very interesting. You speak of faith, and I know you read the Holy Bible. Does business contradict what the Bible teaches?
CyberBoy: That’s an excellent question. No. I highly recommend reading Matthew 25:14–30. It’s in the New Testament. It’s known as “The Parable of the Talents.” Jesus tells the parable. If, I am not mistaken, a talent was the largest denomination in that time and region. But, its about investments.
One morning, a husband and wife began to argue back and forth about who should make coffee.
Frustrated the husband went to the living room and began watching the news on the television monitor.
His wife walked over with her Bible and said, “You should make the coffee, because it says so right here.”
He said, “Where?”
“Right, here!” She pointed, “It says HEBREWS!”
Reporter: That’s comical. Who do you turn to when your down or feeling depressed?
CyberBoy: Who do I turn to? Hmm. My shadow. I keep myself happy. Life is temporary. I, ugh, turn to Joel Osteen. I watch videos of him on YouTube. I think he is a marvelous example of a perfect father. Laughter is an excellent antidepressant.
Reporter: Starting a business requires a lot of work, time, and money. Did any of that factor in when you decided to start Cyber Boy Corp. in March?
CyberBoy: I grabbed a pink piggie bank off the dresser and slammed it on the ground. Nah, I don’t need to feel out credit applications or seek business financing. All I can say is that I played life safe. I have a safety net. I work 12 hrs, sometimes 24hrs, a day, I earned it.
Reporter: So, what made you believe that you can do this? There is a television production company across the street! And you shrug your shoulders, why?
CyberBoy: I can’t take all the credit for creating the company. I can take credit for financing the whole operation, but, the idea came from a doctor. Her name is Dr. Elena Porter. She practices chiropractic treatment or medicine, I don’t know the terminology, in Simi Valley, Ca. We had a stimulating conversation at a health club, and I walked away revived. I felt dead. I had exited a second marriage, closed down a business I started from scratch and was golfing day-to-day, while I figured out what the hell to do. I began working in executive protection. I told the owner of the company that we needed to provide cybersecurity services and that I would lead that department upon earning a degree in information technology. So, when I walked away from her, my entrepreneurial spirit returned, and I prepared for battle the next day. So, here we are, and the rest is going to be history.
Reporter: Did that create any conflict between you and the company?
CyberBoy: Hell no! I am a person of integrity. The owner knows that, the team knows that, and our wallets know that. I am committed to his company and Cyber Boy Corp. until they carry me in a casket.
