Lizzy Ashliegh is far from one-track minded as she uses her skillset in many creative ways. Born on February 8, Lizzy is a true Aquarius who has spent most of her upbringing in Brooklyn, New York. She graduated from Paul Robeson High School and is currently a singer, songwriter, and director. After spending a brief period studying theatre and communications at Elizabethtown College, Lizzy transferred to NYCDA (New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts) to study film. Lizzy is the creative director behind all of the music videos she shoots for her singles. Recently, she shot a music video in the Nevada desert for a song written by Magician Jibrizy. The song is called “Peru,” and both Jibrizy and Lizzy are featured on it. Lizzy is also working on a music video for a song that is soon to be released called “Mr. Krabs.”
Lizzy Ashliegh explains that she was able to create her very own visual album which premiered at a Brooklyn movie theatre. The album was essentially an elongated music video which told a coherent story via each song with some narration throughout. Lizzy states that she has been singing for years, but she recorded her first original song in high school. Though she had been singing for a long time, Lizzy mentions that she did not truly develop her artistic identity and niche within music until about two years ago.
Lizzy claims that she has won roughly over 500 awards in her lifetime, ranging from high school awards to community awards to many others. Her most treasured award is unexpectedly a paper award for “Best Dancer,” which she received in kindergarten. Evidently, Lizzy’s love for dancing and performing is something that has been inherent in her for the majority of her life. Although she is not a professional dancer, Lizzy is never afraid to show off her dance moves in front of a crowd.
