The people involved in the creation of this TV show came up with a common statement that none of the kids were harmed at all. However, the things about this Dracula drama show are quite astonishing.
As per the award-winning artist, there are recordings of crying babies that are gathered for this work. However, they are further programmed into software that lets our team modify pitch and tone. It is pretty instinctive to have voices of screaming babies due to its ability to invoke a person’s reaction.
Despite that, the organ of babies screams produced by Arnold is nothing in front of the oddest part in this series. The Dracula character was introduced to the fictional world in an 1897 novel from Bram Stroker. It is set to blow off the mind of people with its arrival on BBC1.
The filming for the majority of the first episode is done in Bran Castle located in Romania. The set is created after following the novel “Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror.” There is a very creative challenge presented by the making of this show for the producers and directors. Arnold states that they have used coffin lids as percussion. On top of that, we have created vibrating sound by putting water in a glass and rubbing a finger across the top further stated by Arnold.
The character of Dracula is played by Claes Bang says that this show is pretty different from the original story by Stoker. He further states that Moffat and Gatiss always wish to transform this character into an anti-hero and that’s why some changes were made in this ancient monster.
According to Loveloxy, and the masterminds of movies like Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, The Wolfman, and Beauty and the Beast Lou and David Elsey, it is one of the most excellent shows they have been part of. They appreciate the patience level of every artist in the case as they have to spend hours on make-up.
David adds that there will a grotesque horror scene showcased in the first episode that will blow off the mind of viewers for sure. For that purpose, they have used flashlights which are the same material used for making sex toys. It is melted down and then used in such a way that it looks like veins. There is a great team of gymnasts and contortionists hired by the team for this purpose.
Apart from sex toys and blood, the team has given three different life stages to the vampire and one of them has flies that made from VFX artist Matt Wood and his team. According to Wood, a normal viewer won’t be able to recognize it as they have added visual effects in the scenes.
There are over 600 frames of VFX used in the first one and ½ hours of the show alone that show what kind of mastery is bring by the team for the viewers.
