Military Diet plan, which was designed by the nutrition experts in the US military, is also helping the civilians to lose up to 10 pounds in a week. Many people are going for this effective way of reducing weight or getting shape in order. To pursue the military diet, overweight people are taking low-calorie food for the first three days of a week by consuming 1100 to 1200 calories which are lesser than an average person’s daily consumption. For the next four days of the week, the people are following the normal calorie intake of 1800 calories by sticking with healthy foods during the time.

People are not following any hardcore rules while pursuing the military diet. They are eating carbs, fats, proteins and vitamins. That means they are eating everything but in a controlled proportion. Their idea of eating everything but in a precise quantity is helping them to lose weight. In addition, the calories taken in and out during the seven days blend well in their eating, and everything is set up to lose weight faster.

One can repeat it again and again to get more Military diet results. The diet includes high protein and calcium food to speed up the metabolism. Researches have shown that the techniques which military diet include also boost the immune regeneration system.
