Saud Bin Ahmed is an international expert in the field of information security and has done his bachelor’s in the business information system, along with doing a certified ethical hacker course from the United States. Born in 1985, Ahmed hails from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and began his technical career at the age of 13. He cultivated a passion for the field by reading about it on the internet and educated himself on how hackers could paralyze a country. This lit a fire in him and he strived to counter these hackers and virus attacks that can expose a country’s secret information. In 2013, Ahmed found out the cure of dismantling the infamous ransom virus, which was hiding behind the emblem of the Ministry of Interior, becoming the first Emirati to do so.
He vocally made people aware of the electronic blackmailing, fabrication of pictures, and corruption existing in the world media. This led him to participate in the law of UAE, issued by the President of the State, to combat discrimination and hatred. His passion for his field further helped him discover massive security flaws in more than 4000 computers in the country, which may have exposed the UAE to exterior forces’ extortion, blackmailing, and infusion of a malware. He worked extremely hard to safeguard his country’s national security which earned him an opportunity to work with His Excellency Ahmed bin Muhammad Al-Jarwan, the President of the Arab Parliament.
Ahmed boasts a long list of accolades, certificates, and awards for protecting his country from external threats. Saud Bin Ahmed has been the General Manager of the Emirates Technical Support Company. He has served the Arab community with his experience in the field for over 19 years. Saud Bin Ahmed, with his alert mind-set, exemplary skill-set, and technical prowess, has become a prized asset for his country’s government.
